Shawn Shea
A successful business owner from the age of 27, Shawn Shea discovered his true passion in the financial services industry. Observing that the ultra-wealthy manage their finances in ways most Americans never hear about, Shawn made it his mission to share these strategies with the everyone.
Areas of Expertise: Wealth building, debt elimination, and tax-advantaged planning.
Superpower: Explaining complex financial ideas in simple, straightforward terms.
Personal Note: Shawn lives in Omaha, Nebraska, with his wife, Cassandra, and their four children. He finds peace at his “top-secret” fishing spot. Above all, Shawn’s faith and relationship with Christ guide his life, shaping his commitment to helping families achieve true financial freedom.
Matt Evans
Matt Evans has devoted over 20 years to helping individuals craft more efficient financial plans. Matt earned his degree in insurance and risk management from Missouri State University and served as a senior vice president of business development before co-founding MFL in 2022.
Core Belief: “Develop a single, solid financial plan encompassing every area of life. Love people, and use things—never the other way around.”
Passion: Teaching families how to leverage MFL for faster mortgage payoff and greater financial security.
Personal Life: Matt and his wife, Christee, reside in Lake St. Louis, Missouri, where they're raising four children: Kyle, Hannah, Blake, and Grant. Matt also leads Kuvnyl, a ministry teaching inner-city kids to bow hunt, which he describes as “the most rewarding part of my life after my kids and relationship with Jesus.” In his free time, Matt enjoys spending time with his family, running, working out, and daily cold plunges.

Christee Evans
As Director of Operations at MFL, Christee brings a wealth of expertise from her two decades in financial services. Alongside her husband, Matt Evans, she helped shape the MFL program, combining innovative strategies to empower clients in eliminating mortgage debt within 5–7 years.
Focus: Streamlining systems that help families achieve a mortgage-free life and grow wealth.
Community Involvement: Christee starts each day by spending time in the Word. Her purpose in life is to glorify God in all that she does in both her business and personal daily life.
Family & Lifestyle: She and Matt live in Lake St. Louis, with here they guide their four children—Kyle, Hannah, Blake, and Grant, and their German Shepherd, Roxy. As a family, they enjoy traveling, being involved with their church, working out, and being active outdoors.
Jordan Sterling
Jordan brings executive leadership experience in the financial industry, guiding teams to measurable growth through strategic innovation and disciplined execution. He specializes in corporate finance, risk management, and strategic planning, successfully leading complex financial initiatives.
Core Belief: “Combine visionary strategy with analytical rigor to transform financial potential into lasting success. True leadership thrives on accountability and continuous improvement.
Passion: Empowering organizations and individuals to break free from conventional financial thinking,
Personal Life: Jordan resides in Springfield, Missouri, with his wife, Rebecca, and their two children. Dedicated deeply to faith-based service, he travels extensively to lead seminars, guide clients, and share the love of Jesus, describing this mission as “an essential expression of my life's purpose.”
